MAKING PROPER PRODUCT CLAIMS

Did you know medical claims about our products are not legally permissible? We have to be very careful with the claims we do make. Please do not display or promote personal inch loss results, claim inch loss, discuss changes to the fat cell, or treating or curing of any diseases when sharing the It Works! products. All of these are considered "improper claims."

Always use approved product descriptions and product claims found in your It Works! Marketing Materials, on the product pages at itworks.com and productcoach.itworks.com.

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN! YEARLY TAX FORMS ARE COMING SOON!

As an independent Distributor, 1099-MISC forms are generated for US Distributors who are paid at least $600 in a given calendar year. Your 1099 earnings for the year are all commissions and bonuses paid to you between January 1 and December 31. Use your pay portal account transaction history or your Commission tab in eSuite to see if you earned enough – active eSuite subscription required.

For active Distributors, your 2016 1099 will be available in your eSuite Settings tab for viewing and downloading by the end of January. You do not need an active eSuite subscription as long as your account itself remains active. All active Distributors have basic eSuite access, which includes the Settings tab.

For cancelled Distributors (or those on Renewal Hold), this will be mailed to the main address on file, postmarked by January 31. The form will also be available in the eSuite Settings tab should you choose to renew your account.

FRUSTRATED BY CREDIT CARD DECLINES?

If you receive a "Do Not Honor" message during enrollment or when placing an order, ask your customer if they recently received a new "chipped" credit card.

Many banks have issued new chipped cards and they will automatically activate at a time designated by the credit card company. Card activation will occur even if the card holder does not initiate the process.

Once the new card is activated, the old card will no longer work, and the "Do Not Honor" decline message may appear.

"Do Not Honor" declines also appear for other reasons. Often the card company simply wants to verify the purchase is valid and a phone call from the card holder can clear-up everything!
