That was one of the greatest things anyone has ever said to me. Who would have thought that I could ever be here—from a teacher and coach to owning a company, a ranch and an island?! That I'd get to change lives around the world?! I never would have thought!
It made me think: Team, are you dreaming well? Have you dreamed well?
DREAMING IS A PROCESS
When we started It Works! in 2001, we had to start with the basics. Year two came and we thought "How long do we have to do this?" Year three came and went, year four, year five. I'd say, "But I have big dreams. This isn't what I thought it would be. I'm putting in the work!"
THE PROCESS BECOMES THE DREAM
You're being refined in the process. It may seem tedious or boring, but you're growing. By staying focused, all of a sudden the mundane becomes the dream. It comes to life. You've stayed the course. You've stayed focus. It's as if overnight your business starts booming! This was the process. Nobody wants process. It's boring, it feels like things don't change, it's routine. I didn't get up and dream that I wanted an island one day and the next day it was here. It was a process. You're in the process right now.
